Motar Board - National College Senior Honor Society

Who may attend the 2020 Mortar Board National Leadership Conference?

All members of a collegiate chapter may attend the 2020 conference. The conference provides members with valuable training and leadership skills that all members should take advantage of. A chapter must have at least one member attend, and that member, preferably the president, will serve as the chapter’s official delegate during the conference.

I am part of the executive team

Your chapter’s $350 conference fee covers the attendance of the official delegate, four other officers and one advisor. This group will serve as your chapter’s executive team during the conference. The highest-ranking officer attending will automatically be designated the official delegate.

Registration scenarios for collegiate chapters

  1. You are the official delegate and your chapter has already paid its conference fee:
You will have received a prepaid code emailed by the National Office to register for the conference. Please register. Then, reach out and arrange for four additional officers and one advisor to use that prepaid code to register.

  2. You are an executive officer (or will become one) and your chapter has already paid its conference fee:
Get the prepaid code from your official delegate. Please register.

  3. You are the official delegate, but your chapter has not yet paid its conference fee:
When you register, you will be prompted to pay the conference fee. After registering yourself and paying the fee, you will receive an email from the National Office containing a prepaid code. This code will be valid for up to four additional officers and one advisor to use when they register, at no additional charge, for conference.

  4. You are the official delegate and your chapter is unable to pay the $350 conference fee due to extreme financial hardship
You should register first and, when prompted, check the statement requesting financial assistance for your chapter.
You will be provided a code to enter on the payment screen to suspend temporarily the conference fee. After you have registered, the National Office will follow up with the chapter to set up a payment plan and provide the code for the four additional officers and the advisor. You should reach out and arrange for the four additional officers and advisor to register.

I am a member of the collegiate chapter, and I’d like to attend

If you are not a part of your chapter’s executive team or don’t know yet, and would like to attend the conference, please click on the Collegiate Registration button. You will be asked to pay a fee of $25 to complete your registration.

I am an advisor

If you are registering as an advisor apart from your chapter’s executive team, you will be prompted to complete a payment of $25 when submitting your registration.

Advisors may register for the Workshop for the same fee as collegiate members.

I am an alum

If you are an alum, please register to attend the Conference Opening and Alumni Award Presentation at no cost. This set of sessions is Saturday, August 8 from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Eastern.
