Passing the torch of leadership is a phrase that all Mortar Boards know.
The concept starts at tapping and initiation, as new members experience the honor and excitement of being selected to Mortar Board. It continues at the collegiate level as members experience leadership in action - where, in the process of promoting scholarship, leadership and service, they use their collective talents and influence to enhance the experience of others in their campus community.
Mortar Board alumni pass the torch of leadership through their continued connection to and support of the Society. With a gift to the Mortar Board National Foundation, you can help ensure that the torch of Mortar Board - and our legacy of leadership - burns brightly into the future.
