Commemorate membership this month by wearing your pin
As graduation ceremonies are being held across the nation, nearly 6,000 Mortar Board members will become Mortar Board alumni. To honor these members and celebrate your time in the society, the National Office encourages you to wear your pin beginning now through the last graduation ceremony, held mid-June.
Can’t find your official membership pin? You can order a new one online, by phone or by mail.
Career and Graduate School Network: a useful tool for recent graduates and relocating members
The Mortar Board Career and Graduate School Network was established to offer the opportunity for members and alumni who would like to make contact with other members who work in their field of interest or can provide answers to questions about a considered graduate school.
Using this network, the National Office can provide members who request the information in touch with members in the area who can provide answers.
As an alumni member, you can take advantage of being put in touch with others in your career field, or choose to be listed in the network as an expert who is willing to help. Don’t worry, this national information database located at the National Office is never publicly listed. Your information will only be shared with other professionals seeking contacts if you opt in to this service.
To sign up to be listed in the database, simply use this easy online form. To make new professional contacts using the network, please view this instructional page then contact the National Office at mortarboard@mortarboard.org.

A Mortar Board alumni chapter is a great way to meet new people and promote the ideals of scholarship, leadership and service. Many alumni chapters also choose to work closely with a nearby collegiate chapter, supporting them and co-hosting events.
If you may be interested in starting an alumni chapter, let the National Office know by calling 800-989-6266 or filling out this easy online form and we’ll provide more extensive information on creating a chapter. The National Office can assist with implementing promotional chapter mailings, creating a chapter website and providing a customized mortarboard.org e-mail address.
