Mortar Board members are not only given the opportunity to be
an active part of a unique honor society, but also have numerous
opportunities for growth and involvement.
- Mortar Board offers a variety of benefits ranging
from government employment placement to discounts on auto insurance
or cell phones.
- Each year, Mortar Board awards thousands of dollars in fellowships to
deserving members furthering their education in any postgraduate
field.
- Outstanding alumni members are recognized annually with notable national awards from Mortar Board
- Chapters have the opportunity to be nationally recognized
for excellence on their campuses with prestigious awards from
Mortar Board.
- Mortar Board is governed by its collegiate members, which
gives those members the unique opportunity to make a huge impact
on the national organization. There are opportunities
for involvement at the national
level, alumni level and chapter
level.
- All collegiate and alumni members are invited to and welcomed
at the annual national conference, where members
from more than 200 chapters across the country come together
to determine the future of Mortar Board.
