Involvement at the chapter level

Lead as a chapter officer
Every chapter has at least six positions available for officers and many have even more than that. You can head up membership efforts, record your chapter’s history, plan events and programs, work with alumni or more as a chapter officer.

Attend the annual national conference
Each chapter must send one delegate to the annual national conference, with costs for that attendee covered by the chapter and national Mortar Board.  Additionally, any interested members are invited to attend the weekend conference at a special member rate.  Register here to attend!

Support a nearby collegiate chapter as an active alumni member
Alumni who live near collegiate chapters can support them by requesting to be on their mailing lists.  Then, they can attend Mortar Board events to encourage and assist the chapter.

Collegiate chapters all have opportunities for alumni involvement, ranging from becoming a chapter advisor to co-hosting mixers with collegiate members.  Look up a nearby chapter and start collaborating now!

Alumni in the area are experts in their fields.  Chapters can benefit from this when alumni volunteer to serve as a consultant and assist with selection, publicity, event planning or numerous other areas.
